Biography

puwanizz (real name: Puwanut Muelae, nickname: Tevich) was born on August 25, 2014, in Thailand. As a child, he was somewhat introverted, though deep down, he had dreamed of becoming a singer from a very young age. When he was nine, his parents separated, and he currently lives with his mother in a middle-class household.

Before entering the music scene, Tevich worked as an editor, creating videos for TikTok under the name “Tevich.” However, he eventually decided to step away from editing due to burnout. One day, while scrolling through TikTok, he discovered the song “Hate On Me” by Pazzlert, which became a major turning point that reignited his passion for music. Around the same time, he went through the experience of being betrayed by a friend, which motivated him to start searching for beats on YouTube and teaching himself how to use the BandLab app.

In the beginning, he kept his music-making a secret from his mother due to shyness and a lack of self-confidence. Drawing further inspiration from Malcolm Todd, he began recording songs using an affordable microphone, which led to his first track, “You Planned It All” (the file for which has since been lost). He later released his first song on Spotify under the artist name “Tevizz,” before deciding to change it to “puwanizz,” the name he uses to this day. As he became more serious about his musical career, he began training to produce his own beats, aiming to refine his production skills in preparation for creating his second album in the future.
